Lasting Impression is an exceptional chestnut filly with majestic up hill movement. Her top line is excellent with a well placed and beautifully sloping shoulder that allows for big movement. We expect this filly to be a top dressage horse. From birth Lasting Impression has been the sweetest and friendliest foal we have ever had. She is a large filly and we expect her to mature to 17.1 hands.
Lasting Impression is very much like her sire, Londonderry, in both looks and conformation. She has the long legs, beautiful head and fine movement that he is know for passing on. Londonderry stands at Celle, the German State Stud. Londonderry was champion of his stallion licensing and and ranked 5th in the 100 day test. As a State stallion he won the riding horse performance test at the German Riding Championships at Verden and was the highest scoring horse at the Federal Championships in Warendorf. Londonderry seems to have a special niche with the Weltmeyer bloodline and has produced such stallions as Locksley II, Liberty Gold, and Londontime.
Lasting Impression's dam, Winesome, is the daughter of the legendary Weltmeyer who is considered by many to be the most influential Hanoverian stallion of the century. In deed when asked about Weltmeyer, Dr. Ludwing Christman of the Verban stated "Weltmeyer is one of those stallions that are born only rarely -Absatz, Bolero, Weltmeyer-they leave their mark on their offspring, they are timeless. It is just not possible to reproduce such a stallion, you can try to breed them, but everything has to click and fit for it to happen. He is the number one stallion." Weltmeyer
was champion of his 100 day testing, Bundeschampion and the DLG winner. He was the Hanoverian Stallion of the year in 1998 and the USEF number 1 stallion in 2003, even though he stood in Germany.
. With such a pedigree needless to say we are expecting great things from Lasting Impression.
SOLD!Congradulations to Jess Systo of Vermont, on the purchase of "Missy". We can't wait to see her shine in the dressage ring.
