Mojo won the 2005 Yearling Class at Dressage at Lexington
Mojo is a 2004 gray colt by Maronjo out of EM Davinia. Mojo's sire, Maronjo, is a Hanoverian stallion with a Trakehner background. Maronjo's grandsire Mahagoni is the sire of Peron who was the highest placed American dressage horse in the 1998 Olympics. Maronjo was champion at his 100 day testing with scores of 9 for character, temperament and willingness to work. He was a successful competitor in FEI dressage and his offspring are winning in hand, in dressage and also in eventing.
Imported from Germany, EM Davinia, Mojo's dam, was Grand Champion Mare at the Mid-Atlantic Hanoverian Breeder's (MAHB) mare show in 2004, her first show in the US. Her sire Davignon (Donnerhall line), is known to pass to his offspring exceptional elastic movement and powerful hind quarters. His offspring include several licensed stallions such as Davignport, who stands in Maryland, as well as many elite mares.
Both Maronjo and Davignon were first in dressage in their stallion testings; Maronjo with a score of 133.25 and Davignon with a score of 146.49. Mojo has the correct and powerful gaits of his bloodlines. He is the classic type of Hanoverian bred for dressage. With his powerful hind quarters and athletic ability, he also is a suitable prospect for jumping and eventing. Mojo has a wonderful easy going and friendly personality and is a pleasure to work around. He should mature around 17 hands.
My husband made me add that he is his "favorite". I like him for his movement; he is taken with his power, good looks and personality.
SOLD!Congradulations to Madeline Blotjacker of Ohio on the purchase of Mojo. We look forward to following their progress in Eventing!
