His sire, De Niro, a Donnerhall/Akzent II son, scored 145.41 in rideability at his 100-Day Test, finishing second out of 50. De Niro is a successful sire and Grand Prix dressage horse, winning a Grand Prix Special with a top score of 73.22% at only eight years of age. De Laurentis’ dam, Chippy, is full sister to the dam of Dacaprio by Davignon. Her sire Caprimond scored 147.76 in rideability at his testing, finishing first out of 56. At age two, Liberty Gold attained the highest distinction for a Hanoverian colt of his age group as Champion of the Hanoverian Licensing at Verden (November, 2003). Weltmeyer 1984 Hanoverian Stallion
Weltmeyer was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. In the same year Weltmeyer also won the three-year-old stallions classification at the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses in Warendorf. In 1988 he was honored in Verden as best stallion of his age-group and awarded with the "Freiherr von Stenglin-Prize". One year later he became DLG Champion 1989 in Frankfurt.
