His sire Bordeaux was reserve Champion at his 100-Day testing and had a successful FEI dressage career which included being long-listed with the USET. His progeny are competing successfully in all levels of dressage, including Grand Prix. Others have been successful in the hunter ring, as well as in the breed ring. "Bordeaux babies" are known for their wonderful temperament and trainability. Brentina, the USEF Horse of the Year ridden by dressage rider Debbie McDonald, is also from the Bolero/Grande bloodline.
