Equanimity Farm Sport Horses is a small Hanoverian breeding farm located in south central Pennsylvania. We are about 100 miles from Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC.
Our farm is dedicated to breeding and raising registered Hanoverian sport horses of the finest quality. Our goal is to produce horses with excellent rideability and willingness to work whether for the amateur owner or for the professional competitor.
Our broodmares have been selected not only for their bloodlines, but also for their individual characteristics of athletic ability, elasticity of movement, rideability and temperament. We carefully choose the stallions we believe are best suited to each individual mare to produce the best possible offspring.
Our foals are imprinted at birth and handled on a regular basis. We bring along four to five youngsters each year. As young horses they are taught manners and introduced to ground training. All of our babies are inspected and registered. In addition they have their lifetime number with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).
Horses from our breeding program are highly competitive. Our clients report they have won many ribbons at breed shows including Devon. Under saddle they are competing in dressage, in eventing and in hunter shows. Where they also are proving to be very successful. We try hardto select the right horse for our clients and to match both our horses' temperament and abilities to the perspective owner’s abilities and goals. Equanimity Farm Sport Horses is owned and operated by Diane & Jack Vickery.
We hope you enjoy our website. Please contact us for further information about our horses for sale.
